The President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, will visit Russia in 2025, Russian media reported on Friday with reference to Moscow’s ambassador to Beijing Igor Morgulov, writes Reuters, reports UNN.

“As for specific bilateral measures, I can say that relevant plans are being actively developed. What can be said, which is not a secret from the point of view of priority, is that the President of the People’s Republic of China is expected in Russia next year,” the ambassador said.

Morgulov also stated that China, which refrains from condemning Russia’s war in Ukraine, understands the reason for the “conflict”, “because they face the same problems – the US and its allies are increasing pressure on China in the Asia-Pacific region”.

According to him, NATO is “developing plans to move its military infrastructure” to this region.

According to him, Russia and China should jointly respond to US policy.
