WP: Trump viewed to Ukraine’s Tomahawk missiles

US President Donald Trump has considered the possibility of sending Tomahawk winged missiles to Ukraine – they are not in the delivery list, but they can be included later. About it reports The Washington Post with reference to the informed source.

“If they are launched from Ukraine, they can impress Moscow and St. Petersburg, and this issue was included in the discussion on Friday. Tomahawk has not yet been included in the delivery list. They can be included later if Trump wants to have even more influence levers, ”the newspaper writes.

According to WP, the total military aid package is $ 10 billion.

Trump did not say that military assistance could also include permission for some new powerful offensive weapons. But the source involved in this decision reported that the package would probably include permission to use 18 ladies of ATACMS, which are now in Ukraine, with a full range of 300 kilometers (about 190 miles)-it will not fly to Moscow or St. Petersburg, but the wars of the ware are out of reach. The package may also include more ATCMS missiles.

According to The Washington Post, citing a source familiar with the administration’s discussions, Trump decided to go to escalation for three reasons.
