Special Envoy of the President of the USA Steve Witkoff said that during the negotiations of the American and Ukrainian delegations on Sunday in Berlin, significant progress was achieved.

What preceded: At 17:23 Kyiv time President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he has started a meeting in Berlin with representatives of the USA and Germany regarding peace in Ukraine.

Zelensky published photos showing that the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian delegation, as well as the special envoy of the American president Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Late in the evening, Zelenskyi’s adviser Dmytro Lytvyn reported that the negotiations on December 14 lasted more than five hours and will continue on Monday morning.
