How did the word nontransfusion come about?

Linguists have two assumptions about the origin of the word non-transfusion.

According to the first transfusions — a valuable liquid, of which there is so much that it pours over the edge. And vice versa non-transfusion — lack of fluid, or a limited amount that is not enough.

According to the second, once upon a time, at weddings, water was poured in front of the newlyweds, which was easy to step over.
