Last week, I had the opportunity to visit one of the military warehouses as part of the Mow and Dot Commission. Such warehouses contain everything required for the rear support of the army. Impressions, as they say, are contradictory.

The composition of 1938 retained not only its architecture, but also seems to be part of the content of those times. Among the most “impressive” finds are Soviet underwear of the 50-70s. It is officially written off, but it is impossible to dispose of it – it should be issued to units as a rag for cleaning weapons. By weight, of course. And if it is a established practice with linen, then what to do with things such as hats- “Usanka”?.

Not so critical, but hardly by the charter: the manufacturer was warmed by the manufacturer in the “leopard” packaging. It is clear that there are no specific requirements for what pants will bring. However, I am more than sure that the manufacturer included packaging in the cost of the product. It is probably not necessary to put military clothing in what is left after another, not a defense order.

Leopard print hides serious systemic problems: overcrowding of warehouses with outdated materials and humanitarian aid, which has been accumulated since 2022. Humo -help is not always disassembled because of the problem of the procedures themselves – this is especially true of equipment. It can only be issued in addition, not centralized. And so there are problems with the writing off of this property. Therefore, it is easier not to take or put additional responsibility for writing off.

The “sloping” dimensions are also deposited – the military arrive on the equipment, but they refuse “non -passive sizes” – because the orders do not specify specific needs. And it is very strange for me, because the need for the Armed Forces is formed on the basis of requests directly from the military units. But since there are no dimensional grid of things to be issued in the orders, it is impossible to determine whether the military unit really ordered only running dimensions.

But the situation with the seized property was most surprised. Thousands of goods that are recognized as “material evidence” in criminal proceedings are stored in the Armed Forces. The logic is simple to absurd: the SBU arrests, and the Armed Forces have retained “material evidence” for years. Why not the opposite – who arrested, let him store, and do not occupy warehouses that are critically needed for defense needs. However, since property under arrest, it cannot be issued. And what as a result? That’s right, the state is forced to buy the number of things needed, proportional to the one that is proud in warehouses.

Solving these problems does not require revolutionary changes, only a systematic approach. It is necessary to centrally allocate funds for infrastructure for sorting by size. It is necessary to improve the system of accounting and distribution of humanitarian aid, to review the provision standards. Extra shelves should be installed to optimize space and develop uniform packaging standards. And most importantly – to give the opportunity to dispose of outdated materials without long bureaucratic procedures.

During the war, every square meter of warehouses should work to win, not serve as a “museum of Soviet junk”.
