Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko discussed the situation with water supply in Irpen with the head of Kyiv OVA Mykola Kalashnyk. She announced this in a telegram.

According to her, normal water supply should be restored as quickly as possible without schedules – “there is a resource for restoration, the appropriate equipment for backup power supply has also been sent to Irpin.”

Svyridenko also informed about the assignment to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba together with the heads of OVA to urgently submit to the Cabinet of Ministers the additional needs of all critical infrastructure facilities in providing backup power sources for life support facilities on the ground.

Earlier, “Irpinvodokanal” warned local residents that due to the lack of electricity, water will be provided on a temporary schedule – from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 18:00 to 21:30.

After the restoration of the electricity supply, the water supply will be restored as usual, Irpinvodokanal added.
