The fact that the Volgograd airport has suspended work was reported by Rosaviatsia.

Planes were not accepted for boarding and did not depart from 5:45 Moscow time. At least three flights were delayed, one went to an alternate airport in Samara.

At 8:05 a.m. Moscow time, restrictions at the airport were lifted.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia said that during the night two Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Russian regions: one of them over the Volgograd region, the other over the Rostov region. The administration of Volgograd and the governor of the region did not report the consequences of the attack on the region.
