The prosecution also announced that the wife of the former deputy prime minister had the pseudonym “Professor” in the scheme of corruption in the energy sector, and Chernyshov himself had the pseudonym “Che-Guevara”.
In addition, the defense believes that the evidence presented by the prosecution is not strong, and does not consider the risks presented to be justified. The defense also considers Chernyshov’s suspicion to be unfounded.
In addition, the defense notes that all property and accounts of the Chernyshov couple are now seized, which must be taken into account when deciding on bail.
The defense also doubts that the pseudonyms “Che-Guevara” and “Professor” mentioned in the conversations of the participants refer to the Chernyshov couple.
Among other things, during the meeting, the judge announced that the head of the state enterprise “Research Institute of Construction Production” named after V.S. Oleksandr Savchenko of Balytsky asks to take Chernyshov as bail.
According to the results of the meeting on Monday, the judge announced that the proceedings will be continued at 16:00 on November 18.
What preceded:
The law enforcement officers documented how the participants of the corruption scheme in the energy industry transferred funds to the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, who was called Che Guevara in internal communications.
The organizer of the scheme was a businessman, co-owner of “Kvartal-95” and former partner of President Zelensky, Timur Mindich (appears in NABU materials under the nickname “Carlson”), who managed to leave the country just a few hours before the NABU searches.
