On Tuesday, March 18, US Presidential Administration Donald Trump has declassified previously classified materials related to the murder of 35th US President John Kennedy. This step Trump has fulfilled his election promise.

Trump’s national intelligence director Tulli Gabbard has published a link to the Nara archive website, where documents are placed. She stressed that the records were not edited.

According to her office, about 80,000 pages of previously classified materials have been published. Additionally, the possibility of declassification of documents under court seal or fall under the restriction of the Tax Code is considered.

Nara works with the Ministry of Justice to speed up this process, ”the statement reads.

The archive already contains more than six million pages, including photos, audio recordings and other materials related to Kennedy’s murder investigation.
