US approved the sale of two military assistance packages for $ 322 million – Pentagon

The US State Department approved the sale of two military assistance packages to Ukraine. The first package will include Hawk Phase III air defense systems and their maintenance, the second – BMP Bradley and their repair.

Details: The first package refers to HAWK missile maintenance, including:

Advertising:

• five -ton trucks;
• spare parts to the Hawk system;
• repair and overhaul of HAWK anti -aircraft anti -aircraft installations;
• tools of tools;
• test equipment;
• auxiliary equipment;
• technical documentation;
• teaching;
• technical and field support from the US government and contractor;
• technical assistance of the US and contractors;
• storage containers and equipment related to storage of spare parts;
• spare parts for MIM-23 HAWK missiles and missile repairs;
• Other related logistics and program support elements.

The total cost is estimated at $ 172 million.

The second is about the purchase of equipment and services for the restoration of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, technical assistance, training and other related logistics and software support elements. The total cost is $ 150 million.
