According to foreign diplomatic sources close to the negotiations of the Russian Federation and the US in Saudi Arabia, they offer a three -stage peace plan, which includes ceasefire, elections in Ukraine, and then signing the final agreement. At the same time, the thesis of the elections was subsequently denied, explaining that the Russian Federation promotes the point.

At the same time, another American source, familiar with the negotiations, softened this statement, explaining that the negotiations tried to “push” the election point, and “it may be part of future negotiations,” but not now.

Numerous foreign diplomatic sources have given the following vision from the Ukrainian side: “Putin estimates the likelihood of election of a puppet president (Ukraine – ed.) • On February 18, negotiations between the US and Russia delegations began in Saudi Arabia. According to Russian propaganda media, during them the parties planned to discuss economic cooperation and “Ukrainian settlement issues”.
