“From the post of the First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak was released. The first deputy Secretary of the NSDC was appointed Major General Yevgeny Ostryansky, who had previously worked as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the message reads.
According to Umerov, Yevgeny Ostryansky is an officer with more than thirty years of experience in military service, a specialist in strategic planning and defense management.
“In the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine, Mr. Ostryansky will deal with the military block of issues: coordinating all issues with the Sector of Security and Defense for strengthening our army, as well as coordination and preparation of meetings of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief Bids,” Umerov noted, and thanking the hammer.
Rustem Umerov, who, before his appointment in the NSDC, held the post of Minister of Defense, continues to participate in the country’s defense capability. At the beginning of October, the NSDC delegation, together with representatives of the Ministry of Defense, visited the United States to discuss the drone agreement.
The Secretary of the NSDC Umerov became July 18, and he was replaced by former Prime Minister Denis Shmigal as the Minister of Defense.
