Details: In the initial message, Umyerov informed about the start of the meeting and said that he was in constant contact with the President of Ukraine.

What preceded: On Saturday, the Ukrainian delegation led by Rustem Umyerov left for new negotiations in the USA, planned in Florida.
The American side was expected to be represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump.
President Zelensky spoke optimistically about the negotiations regarding the “peace plan” in Florida.
US special envoy Steve Witkoff will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow next week.
