A strategic meeting with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, the head of the General General Tierry Burkhard and the head of the UK Defense Staff Admiral Anthony Radakin took place in Kyiv.
The main negotiation topics were the strengthening of the Ukrainian Security System and the creation of a new European Security Architecture. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the arrangements that will be the basis of stability after the end of the active phase of war, as well as the role of international partners within the framework “Coalitions of those who want. “
“This is the key to stability, prevention of new aggression and restoration of Ukraine. We are ready for peace – just, stable and supported by international support, ”Umerov said.
The issues of operational planning and readiness for the quick execution of decisions in the event of termination of hostilities were also discussed. The minister expressed gratitude to France, the United Kingdom and other coalition member countries for decisive support.
