According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the power sector was mainly hit, but there were also many hits to residential buildings, which caused fires in Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv. Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy and Sumy regions were affected.

The authorities of Kyiv reported on the two deaths as a result of the Russian strike. Four dead, including two children, were reported in the Kyiv Oblast in the Brovar district of the Kyiv region.
