“Ukrzaliznytsia” declares that train movement is complicated due to “abnormal weather conditions”

“Ukrzaliznytsia” reported on complications of train movement throughout the country due to “abnormal weather conditions”.

“At least 10 places were identified where fallen trees damaged power lines and communication and signaling devices, so reserve diesel locomotives were brought out and traffic was transferred to telephone communication on 10 races. One of the trees also hit the passenger car of train #127/128 Zaporizhzhia-Lviv, but there were no injuries to the passengers and no damage to the car itself,” the report says.

According to “UZ”, the most difficult situation occurred in Odesa region, where solid ice covered the power transmission line.
