Ukrzaliznytsia declared damage to its energy infrastructure due to Russian attack

The energy infrastructure of Ukrzaliznytsia has undergone a purposeful attack of Russian shock drones, the press service of the company reports in the telegram.

It is noted that damaged objects in Sumy and Poltava regions.

“Currently, energy supply has already been restored to most sites, and some are undergoing repair work. Train movement is scheduled, ”the message reads.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, no one was injured as a result of this attack.

Earlier, local authorities reported that Russian troops had struck at night on the critical infrastructure of Sumy region – part of consumers of Sumy district was deactivated, medical institutions and other important facilities had passed to the reserve nutrition.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
