Earlier today, “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported that due to damage to the contact network as a result of the fall of the support of the external 110 kV line caused by bad weather, one of the sections was temporarily without power in the Kyiv region, and this led to delays in the movement of trains.

Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba announced traffic restrictions due to bad weather on the roads in Rivne and Zhytomyr regions.
The day before, Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko announced preparations for worsening weather conditions due to the approaching cyclone.
Deteriorating weather conditions in Ukraine are putting additional strain on critical infrastructure already under Russian attacks. The government announced the adoption of a number of decisions so that the relevant services were prepared for bad weather and could provide timely assistance.
