Context
NKREKP approved the tariffs of “Ukrenergo” for 2025. The tariff for electricity transmission services was approved at the level of UAH 686.23/MWh (+0.16 UAH/kWh, compared to the tariff for the current year), and for the dispatch management service at the level of UAH 98.97/MW ∙h (-0.005 UAH/kW∙h, compared to the tariff for the current year).
The company noted that the largest share of Ukrenergo NEC costs included in the tariffs are the costs of implementing PSO, the purchase of reserves (auxiliary services), the costs of servicing and repaying MFI loans, calculations on the electricity market (expenses related to the purchase of electric energy in order to compensate for technological costs, costs for system restrictions, and others), which the power system operator must carry out according to legislation.
Expenses related to the operational activities of NEC “Ukrenergo” make up to 11% in both tariffs. That is, ensuring the company’s vital activities, carrying out repairs and restoration works, construction and modernization of our facilities occupy the smallest share in the tariff structure.
