Ukrenergo: More than 680 settlements have been disconnected because of bad weather

As of the morning of July 9, 681 settlements in six oblasts were completely or partially disconnected, according to Ukrenergo press service.

Also, according to energy data, the level of electricity consumption is increasing in Ukraine.

“Today, July 9, as of 9:30, it (electricity consumption – ed.) It was 3.1% higher than at the same time of the previous day – on Tuesday. The reason is hot weather throughout Ukraine, which causes the use of air conditioning. And also – high cloudiness in some areas, which causes a decrease in the efficiency of work of household solar power plants, ”the message reads.

Ukrenergo says that now the Ukrainian power system continues to recover after Russian massive rocket-okory attacks. Energy recovery work is ongoing.

“From 16:00 to 22:00 there is a need for economical consumption of electricity today. Please limit the use of powerful electrical engineering at this time and do not turn on several electrical appliances at the same time, ”the company press service said.

In May, due to the weather without light, more than 40 settlements in three regions remained in whole or in part.
