“Due to the difficult situation in the energy system caused by previous Russian shelling, emergency power cuts have been introduced in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions. The previously published schedules of hourly outages in these regions are temporarily not valid. After cancellation of emergency blackouts, all consumers will return to the schedules of hourly outages,” the message reads.
Earlier today, Ukrenergo reported that on the morning of November 11, there are consumers without electricity in the Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions due to Russian strikes on energy facilities the previous day.
In addition, as stated in Ukrenergo, due to the difficult situation in the energy system caused by the consequences of Russian shelling, consumption restriction measures are being applied in most regions of Ukraine today.
Electricity consumption remains high, the need for frugal energy consumption will remain until the end of the day, the company emphasized.
Since the beginning of autumn, the Russian military has intensified its attacks on the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season.
