Ukrainian Military Reports Significant Combat Activity on March 20

On March 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a high level of combat activity along the front lines, documenting 161 clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces. The report highlighted that Russian troops conducted 82 airstrikes, dropped 263 guided bombs, deployed over 8,100 kamikaze drones, and executed 3,777 shelling incidents, including 83 from multiple rocket launch systems.

The most intense military operations by Russian forces occurred in the Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole directions. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 32 assaults in the Pokrovsk area, 22 in Kostyantynivka, and 21 in Huliaipole.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units targeted seven locations where Russian personnel were concentrated, as well as two command points for their unmanned aerial vehicles.

The report indicated that Russian military losses for the day amounted to 1,240 personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed one tank, eight armored combat vehicles, 39 artillery systems, one helicopter, over 1,780 drones, and 144 vehicles.

The Ukrainian military reported extensive combat on March 20, with significant Russian air and ground assaults. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled numerous attacks while inflicting substantial losses on Russian troops.
