Ukrainian Air Forces Respond to Missile and Drone Attacks

In the early hours of February 21, Ukrainian air defenses engaged in a significant confrontation against a series of missile and drone attacks. The adversary launched one ballistic missile, identified as an Iskander-M, alongside 120 drones, prompting a swift response from Ukrainian forces.

The Ukrainian Air Forces reported successfully intercepting and neutralizing 106 of the incoming drones. These operations took place across various regions, including the north, south, and east of Ukraine, highlighting the widespread nature of the attacks.

According to reports, the missile struck at least 11 locations, while 13 drones were confirmed to have attacked simultaneously. Debris from these assaults was found scattered across eight different sites, indicating the extent of the damage caused.

As of the morning following the attacks, the situation remained ongoing, with air defense measures continuing in response to potential further threats.

Earlier in the night, the Odesa region was notably targeted, where drone strikes resulted in injuries to two individuals. This incident underscores the persistent risks faced by civilians amid ongoing military operations.
