Shmyhal noted that during Gili’s visit, Ukraine and Great Britain signed a “road map” for the development of a century-old partnership in the defense sphere.
Shmyhal’s direct speech: “The document establishes defense cooperation in 2026 in a number of key security areas. This is an important step for the implementation of large-scale projects made possible by the Agreement on a one-year partnership between Ukraine and Great Britain.”
Details: Shmygal added that he, along with intelligence and General Staff representatives, told his British colleague about the consequences of the massive Russian combined strike that night. “Strengthening air defense and providing ammunition to these systems is a key priority,” he noted, adding that Britain has already made a significant contribution to Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
