Details: The first decision concerns the synchronization of sanctions with Great Britain. Restrictions are applied against eight individuals and 40 legal entities. These are, in particular, citizens of Russia, Azerbaijan, Singapore and New Zealand, who are connected with the forced deportation and re-education of Ukrainian children, as well as with the supply to the Russian Federation of electronics and dual-purpose components used for the production of missiles and drones, with which Russia strikes Ukrainian cities and communities.

The list of legal entities includes companies from Russia, Hong Kong, the UAE, Thailand, Turkey, India and Singapore, which, among other things, help the Russian Federation circumvent international sanctions and supply industrial machines, aircraft equipment, components for the Shaheds, computer chips and other microelectronics for the Russian military industry. Some companies are also involved in the activities of the Russian energy sector, importing Russian oil and ensuring the operation of the shadow fleet.

In total, Ukraine synchronized 14 sanctions packages of partners this year, including two packages from the USA and Great Britain, eight from the European Union, one each from Canada and Japan.

The second decision refers to the support of the proposals made by the Cabinet of Ministers and the introduction of sanctions in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the decisions and regulations of the Council of the European Union regarding the situation in South Sudan.

Eight individuals belonging to the military leadership of South Sudan were sanctioned. They are involved not only in the continuation of hostilities and obstruction of peace negotiations, but also in acts of violence, particularly against women and children – murders, torture, rape, kidnappings, attacks on hospitals, schools and churches. Among them are the commander of the Defense Forces, the head of the Presidential Guard and the chief of the General Staff.
