Details: According to Arahamiya, this actually paves the way for renewed interaction of the CEC with citizens, authorities in terms of work with the register and as a result – its actualization.
The politician reminded that updating the voter register – one of the basic conditions for holding any elections. “The war had a strong impact on demographic indicators and this should be reflected in the registry. There is enough work in this direction,” – he added.
Updated: The CEC added that inrestoration of the operation of the AICS Register in the part of its subsystem of interaction with voters finalizes the restoration of the work of this system in full and ensures:
- accounting and control over consideration of the applications and requests of voters to the bodies maintaining the Register provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On the State Register of Voters”;
- formation and accounting of information provided to voters from the State Register of Deputies;
- functioning of the public electronic service “Personal cabinet of the voter” on the Internet;
- record of appeals to voters by the State Register of Voters.
What preceded: Earlier, Arahamia reported that a working group is being formed in the Council, which will deal with the issue of presidential elections during martial law.
