Ukraine received the second tranche of 4.1 billion euros from the EU as part of the Ukraine Facility program, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Telegram on Wednesday, writes UNN.

“Ukraine received 4.1 billion euros from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program. This is the second regular payment allocated by the European Commission within the framework of this instrument. The next tranche was the result of our state’s implementation of all measures specified in the Plan of Ukraine,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Shmyhal indicated that this year’s total assistance under the Ukraine Facility initiative amounts to 16.1 billion euros. In total, within its limits, Ukraine is provided with EUR 50 billion. The program will run from 2024 to 2027.

“We thank the EU for its unwavering support to Ukraine, which is of great importance for strengthening the country’s economic stability and transformation on the way to full membership in the EU,” Shmyhal said.
