Ukraine has received a second tranche of 150 million euros from the EU as part of the Rapid Recovery Agreement – it is expected that it will be used to feed schoolchildren, restore infrastructure and support agriculture, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said in Telegram on Wednesday, writes UNN.

“Ukraine received EUR 150 million from the European Union. The funds will be used to provide free meals for children in grades 1-4, to restore infrastructure, and to support uninterrupted production of agricultural products,” Shmyhal wrote.

According to him, this is the second tranche within the framework of the Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on support for rapid recovery, which provides for the provision of 300 million euros to our state.

He thanked EU countries and institutions for “important support for the reconstruction of our country, help for business and for providing comfortable living conditions for Ukrainians.”
