“Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko indicated that at the opening of the Ukrainian pavilion there was a hype – “such a big turn that I had to attract a movement regulator””, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org
“The pavilion has the shape of a store where nothing can be bought. Instead of goods, there are 18 objects, each of which symbolizes human value – freedom, dignity, sustainability, etc. Each object has a real barcode that visitors can scan with the help of special store scanners installed in the pavilion. Instead of habitual prices for goods, they will see video history from Ukraine on screen, which metaphorically demonstrate the price we give the right to education, freedom of choice, the right to medical care, etc. ” – the message stated.
Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko indicated that the opening of the Ukrainian pavilion was a hype – “such a big turn that I had to attract a movement regulator.” According to her, visitors “came with our flags, blue and yellow elements on clothing, thanked Ukraine for their sustainability.”
“Having scanned the inflatable boat, you can see not the price, but how Ukrainians saved animals during the tragedy at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, taking a metro icon – see children who teach in underground schools, unfolding a blue book – to learn the history of Factor Group of Companies. I would like to thank the UNDP Ukraine / UNDP in Ukraine for supporting the publishing house of this product, ”the minister said.
Other elements of the Ukrainian exposition are also told about the mutual assistance of Ukrainians and the sustainability of Ukrainian business, according to the message.
Japan gave Ukraine the opportunity to participate in Expo 2025 on a free basis and supported organizationally.
Japan does not provide Ukraine with military assistance, which is prohibited by the current Constitution of the country, but helps in humanitarian recovery. Within the first three phases of the emergency recovery program, the needs of energy, transport, agricultural sector, medicine, education, waste management, water supply and demining were provided.
The new, fourth phase, which began in April 2025, also provides for critical directions, including humanitarian demining, energy infrastructure, drainage and resumption of facilities in the regions, the Ministry reported.
Since the beginning of the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Japan has provided Ukraine with $ 12 billion in humanitarian and financial assistance.
