This year is special to me. I finish the eleventh grade to the sounds of anxiety, often spending the night in shelter. My most desire now is to see my country free and peaceful.

Last summer, I visited abroad for the first time. It was Germany – one of the EU countries. He lived in the family of a scientist from Hanover, so he was able to see this country not tourist, but what she really is. I liked Hanover with his wonderful architecture, beautiful parks, measured life, the fussy metropolis Berlin and a small village near the North Sea, where the old mother of Andreas lives, who welcomed me in his family. I do not know German, but it does not speak English at all, but it did not prevent us from understanding.

I liked everything in Germany, but when I returned to Ukraine, I wondered if I would like to stay there forever and replied to myself, “No.” No matter how comfortable and safe the countries of Europe may be, I would like to not run there from the slaughtered country, but to do my best to make Ukraine part of the European Union.

Of course, if they are just taken there, nothing will change. Real actions are needed to make our country a worthy member of the European family.

First of all, you need to end the war. Europeans help us a lot, they have shaded millions of refugees, provide financial assistance, weapons, and teach our military. We are grateful to them. While Ukrainians are holding back a terrible Russian invasion, Europe is safe.

But we need to overcome not only an external enemy, but also enemies within the country. In my opinion, the worst thing that does not allow us to develop is total corruption, which, like a deadly spruce, has penetrated into all spheres of life ..

Is it possible to overcome it? I think so. It is necessary for honest new politicians to come to the Verkhovna Rada. Now in the war there is enough smart young people. You just don’t need populists who can rely a lot of good and right away. It was already. The laws must be fair for everyone and, indeed, work. That there is no right of force, but there was a power of law. Officials should not just lose their work, but have a real punishment and never be allowed to go to power.

I understand that it is not easy to do. I’m not going to be aside and wait for someone to come and change our lives for the better. I plan to get a quality law education, gain experience in the profession, and then, gathering a team of like -minded people, try to come to power and take part in the creation of the country of the future. He started with the Lyceum Parliament, where he was first elected in the party, and in the eleventh grade tried his hand. Our Parliament organizes students to participate in volunteer activity, conducts various competitions and competitions, makes the life of lyceum students meaningful and interesting. I hope that I will need this experience in my life later.

If I do not have the most ambitious designs, I want to become a good lawyer and do my best to do justice in society. If everyone in its place is working in good faith and honestly, we will make our country one of the best in Europe. I am sure of that.

I would also like to pay attention to the problem that is not given enough attention in our country. This is ecology. Of course, now we have the main goal – to survive, to save the state. But you should not forget about it. As a result of hostilities, a large amount of harmful substances got into the air, and this will subsequently threaten the growth of diseases not only in Ukraine but throughout Europe. I was born and live in the area, which in 1986 suffered from a Chernobyl accident. This territory is still contaminated. Radiation continues to adversely affect people. It is scary that as a result of a catastrophe attacks can be repeated.

While in Germany, I paid attention how people are taking care of the environment. There are no natural landfills anywhere, all waste is carefully sorted. I would make it mandatory in our country. Even in the smallest village. Environmental education should be in every family, kindergarten, school.

What would I like to see Ukraine in the European Union? The only one, with all its territories. Beautiful, because it is, with its sea and mountains, steppes and fertile fields, rebuilt cities and villages. With the strongest army in Europe, which will be able to protect themselves and neighbors in the event of danger. Economically independent because it has rich natural resources, the best chernozem. Ukraine can trade with other countries not only in Europe but also in the world. It hurts me how many children suffer from famine in Africa and Asia, and we could save them.

Even before the war, many Ukrainians went to other countries in search of earnings. I would like people from Europe to go to us after peace, and their compatriots also returned home. Of course, this is possible only if wages and investments in the economy are worthy. Then Ukrainians will go to Europe to rest, earning enough at home. And guests from Europe will come to us, and we will welcome them.

The simple German Andreas has visited many countries, and has not yet been in Ukraine. I would very much like to come to me after the war, passed the streets of Chernihiv, admired the gums, tasted my mother’s dumplings. I don’t know when it will be, but I hope soon.

Ukraine is Europe. Having chosen freedom, Ukrainians have proven that they should be in the European Union.
