The EU has transferred Ukraine of 1 billion euros within the ERA Loans macro -financial assistance program, which is financed by the frozen assets of Russia.

Details: This tranche is funded from the profits from frozen assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

She thanked the President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen and the European Commissar Valdis Dombrovskis for leadership and unwavering.

“These funds mean saved lives, rebuilt cities and a confident European future of Ukraine,” Sviridenko added.

The funds are transferred within the framework of the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative, which provides for the provision of financial resources to Kiev with the cost of income from frozen assets of Russia.
