Details: President Volodymyr Zelensky put into force three decisions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and signed decrees that ensure the synchronization of Ukraine with a number of sanctions decisions of the European Union. As it is noted, this was the first stage of implementation of the NSDC decision of June 27, 2025 “On the synchronization of the sanction pressure of Ukraine, the EU and other participants of the” Seven Group “on the Russian Federation and related entities”.

Thus, Ukraine synchronized its sanctions with 9-14 EU sanctions, sanctions against human rights violations in Belarus, as well as EU decisions from 2011 and 2020-2025 to persons involved in human rights violations in Iran and military support of the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine.
In total, 403 individuals and 188 legal entities came under sanctions.
“Our state continues to prepare the following sanctional packages for complete synchronization of sanction policy with partners. Ukraine expects the international community to maximize and support Ukrainian sanctions in the relevant national decisions,” the President’s office said.

- On Monday June 30, the EU officially continued sectoral sanctions against Russia for another half a year.
- At the same time, a new 18th package of sanctions against which Slovakia and Hungary are opposed to it.
