Earlier, Donald Trump called a conversation with Zelensky “very good” and added that a considerable part of the conversation was based on his conversation with the Kremlin head Vladimir Putin “in order to reconcile the requests and needs of Russia and Ukraine”.
On March 18, after a telephone conversation by US and Russian leaders, it became known that Putin rejected the US proposal for a 30-day full ceasefire that Ukraine had previously agreed. Instead, he supported the promise of the parties for 30 days to “refrain” from attacks on energy objects.
