Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov during a conversation with his Spanish colleague Margarita Robles discussed the schedule for the supply of weapons and equipment.

Details: The key topic of the conversation was the agreement on the schedule for the transfer of weapons planned for the next two months. Umerov thanked Spain for the previously transferred HAWK systems, “which significantly strengthened Ukrainian air defense.”
Umerov’s direct speech: “I offered the Spanish side to participate in equipping new brigades of our Armed Forces.
He separately noted Spain’s contribution to the training of the Ukrainian military, which is an important element of our cooperation.”
Details: In addition to the supply of weapons, the parties discussed the involvement of Spanish defense companies in joint projects in Ukraine, which could become a new stage of cooperation in the military-technical sphere.
