Details: According to the Ukrainian minister, this paves the way for large-scale joint projects between Ukraine and France in the field of the defense-industrial complex.

In particular, the governments and defense companies of the two countries will focus on the development of innovative electronic warfare systems.
Fedorov noted that Ukraine is interested in the further supply of SAMP/T, Mistral and Crotale systems, as well as ammunition for them. Together with the French minister, they agreed to work on improving the SAMP/T complex for more effective countermeasures against ballistic threats.
The parties also discussed the financing of joint projects, in particular with the funds of the SAFE program from the European Union.
We will remind, the Minister of the Armed Forces of France, Catherine Vautrin, who was on a visit in Ukraine, showed French air defense systems SAMP/T and Mistral, as well as Mirage 2000 fighters in combat positions.
In Kyiv, Vautrin announced that France would provide Ukraine additional radar to the SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile system as a replacement while one of them is being repaired.
In November, Ukraine and France signed a document providing for procurement for Ukraine up to 100 French Rafale fightersas well as air defense equipment and French-made drones.
