Details: A mission, declared on Monday, the UK government immediately after invasion of the Polish airspace sends “a clear signal: NATO airspace will be protected,” said Britain’s Defense Minister John Gili.

The statement states that two Typhoon Air Force aircraft flew from the British military base in East of England on Friday night to patrol Poland’s sky and restraint and protect against air threats from Russia, including drones.
They also add that they returned to Britain on Saturday morning.
The British government has stated that this was a response to the “most significant violation of NATO airspace by Russian ruler Vladimir Putin since the beginning of his illegal full -scale war in Ukraine.
The Commander -in -Chief of the Air Force of Great Britain, the Marshal of Aviation Garv Smith, noted that British fighters joined the Allies on the Eastern Flanging NATO.
