Updated Bayraktar TB2T-AI is capable of performing autonomous take-offs and landings, visually recognizing runways, identify optimal flight routes and dynamic route planning. Thanks to modern artificial intelligence systems, it can focus on the terrain even in difficult conditions of electronic influence. In the case of emergency situations, the intellectual system of the drone is now able to automatically return the device to the base, which significantly increases the vows of UAV.

It is reported that this drone is able to rise to a height of more than 9000 meters in less than 30 minutes, and during the latest tests he set his own record, reaching a height of 9250 meters. Despite the increased runoff and payload, it received an increased flight range, which was 27 hours earlier. Also, other improvements can be attributed:
- The useful load is increased by 50-100% of the previous 100 kilograms;
- The maximum speed from 220 to 300 km/h has increased;
- The satellite communication system increases the drone control radius from 150 km to more than 1000 km;

With regard to combat load, Bayraktar TB2T-AI can carry a MAM-C bomb with laser guidance, as well as a mam-l weighing 22 kg and a range of 15 km. The most recent weapons were the miniature winged Kemankesh missiles capable of eliminating threats at a distance of 200 km.
Today, Baykar has produced about 800 drones of this type, and exports are made to 36 countries. Production capacities allow you to produce one drone per day.
Thanks to the new powerful engine, high speed and intellectual capabilities of standalone flight, Bayraktar TB2T-AI can become one of the best UAVs in its class.
