Earlier, the Viceremier on European and Euro -Atlantic Integration – Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stephanyshyn said that teams from Ukraine and the United States are in the final stage of negotiations on the mineral resource agreement.
The day before, Presidential Head Andriy Yermak noted that any investment in the development of minerals is considered in terms of security guarantees for Ukraine and its strategic interests. Yermak added that negotiations are ongoing and “no one has refused” the conclusion of the agreement, referring to the US fossil agreement.
On February 21, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the development of an agreement by representatives of the United States and Ukraine, not specifying what it would concern. According to him, it is an agreement that “can add to our relationship.” He expressed his hope for a “fair result.”
On the same day, US Presidential Advisor Mike Volt was confident that Zelensky would soon sign an agreement with the United States on minerals.
Washington’s preliminary proposal was reported that the United States has been accessed by a $ 500 billion access to the United States as payments for US military and financial support for Kyiv’s protection against a full -scale invasion of Russia.
