Details: The publication lists a number of steps of the Trump administration, which confirm the departure from the support of Ukraine by the US-from the withdrawal of military bases from Rzeszow and a decrease in the presence in the contact group on Ukraine’s Defense of Ukraine to the cover of Ukraine with a basic 10 percent tariff (at a time when nothing like this was introduced).

Another sign of the time, The Economist notes, is that Pentagon representatives recently asked one of the allies about why he continues to supply weapons to Ukraine
Diplomats in Washington also report that some of Trump’s assistants say in private conversations that they are “full of throat” by the efforts of Europe to strengthen Ukraine.
“As always in the case of such a chaotic administration, it is difficult to distinguish a real signal from noise,” the newspaper notes.
Currently, Europeans are moving in two directions.
The first is the efforts of Britain and France to create European “reassurance forces” that will help Ukraine after ceasefire. Russia objects to such deployment, even if America does not guarantee that it will support Europeans.
Europeans hope to show Trump that they take on the burden of European security, hoping to preserve at least some kind of Americans’ commitment to NATO, if not to Ukraine.
According to this new scheme, the future of “restraint” of Russia will take place in three zones: strengthened Ukrainian troops that keep the line against Russia in the East, European forces in the West and, at least, has continued American presence in NATO countries.
The second area is to increase military assistance to Ukraine by Europe. David Schimer, a former national security official at Joe Baiden, says it is impossible to waste time. Europeans must give more weapons to their stocks, despite the risks; finance the Ukrainian military industry; negotiate with Trump on the purchase of US air defense systems for Ukraine; and use frozen Russian assets to pay for it all.
As Russia is determined to continue its invasion, and America seems to be intending to be removed, Ukraine will have to fight further, Schimer says.
We will remind, President Trump stated that “has nothing to do with” with the war of Russia against Ukraine, and claimed that he was told that Russia had made mistakes in Sumy.
