Details: He declared that the Democrats are meaner than the Republicans and will certainly find a reason to impeach him.
“We have to win the midterms, because if we don’t win the midterms, it’s just going to be … I mean, they’re going to find a reason to impeach,” Trump said.
“I will be impeached,” he added.
During the elections in November, the entire composition of the House of Representatives and a third of the seats in the Senate are re-elected.
It is worth noting that in order to remove the president from office, impeachment must be supported by two-thirds of the senators, which does not seem realistic, since only one-third of the deputies will be re-elected in the Senate, and even in the worst-case scenario for the Republicans, they will control about half of the mandates in this chamber.
We will remind that Donald Trump became the first US president to be impeached twice. But both times it did not lead to his removal from office.
