Details: The US president was asked if the 28-point plan is the “final offer” to Ukraine.

“No, far from final,” he answered.

“We would like to achieve peace, it should have happened a long time ago. Ukraine’s war with Russia should never have happened. If I were the president, it would never have happened. We are trying to end it. One way or another, we have to end it,” added Trump.

What preceded: Earlier, Donald Trump expressed the opinion that sooner or later Ukraine “will still have to agree” to some painful concessions to end the war.

Before that, he gave Ukraine time until November 27 to agree to the “peace plan” proposed by the American side.

On Friday, Zelensky addressed the Ukrainian people, in which he said that Ukraine today faced a difficult choice and risked losing either its dignity or its key partner.
