US President Donald Trump once again complained that the Ukrainian side apparently did not read the potential “peace agreement” and stated that despite the respect for the people and army of Ukraine, Russia is much larger, and “size”, in his opinion, should win.

Trump’s direct speech: “You know, they have to play by the rules. If they don’t read the agreements, the potential agreements, you know, it’s not easy with Russia, because Russia has an advantage. And they’ve always had it. They’re much bigger. They’re much stronger in that sense. I really appreciate the people of Ukraine and the military of Ukraine for their, you know, bravery and for fighting and all that. But you know, at some point, size wins, usually.”

According to Bloomberg, European leaders still hope that Trump will return to his conclusion that Russia is to blame for the ongoing war in Ukraine, but they are also morally preparing for the “worst-case” scenario, in which the United States will distance itself and leave Ukraine without any help.
