“US President Donald Trump publicly supported the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers who shot a 37-year-old resident of Minneapolis. At the same time, he sharply criticized the governor of the state and the mayor of the city, accusing them of “inciting rebellion” and obstructing the work of federal agents.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua

Trump’s direct speech: “Here’s the gunman’s weapon – loaded (and with two full spare magazines!) ready to go. What the hell is this? Where were the local police? Why weren’t they allowed to protect ICE agents? Did the mayor and governor withdraw them? Let our patriot ICEs do their job!”

12,000 illegal alien criminals, many of them violent, have been arrested and removed from Minnesota. If they had stayed there, you would have seen something much worse than what you see today!
The mayor and governor are inciting rebellion with their arrogant, dangerous and arrogant rhetoric! Instead, these smug political fools should be looking for the billions of dollars stolen from the people of Minnesota and the United States of America.”
Details: Trump also said that the situation in the state arose “because of illegal criminals who were allowed to enter the state thanks to the open border policy of the Democrats.”
Shooting incident happened on Saturday, January 24, in Minneapolis (Minnesota). The US Department of Homeland Security says Border Patrol agents opened fire in self-defense. According to their version, the man approached the law enforcement officers with a gun.
At the same time, a video of the incident, which contradicts the statements of the president and federal agencies, is circulating on social networks and mass media. The footage shows people wearing masks and tactical vests fighting a man on a snowy street.
According to witnesses, ICE agents disarmed the man before shots were fired. This caused a wave of indignation among Americans, who are convinced that there was no threat to the lives of law enforcement officers at the time of the murder.
Video footage later emerged of ICE agents firing tear gas at a crowd that had gathered at the scene.
The victim was 37-year-old Alex Pretty, a registered nurse who worked in the intensive care unit of the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the victim was a US citizen, a legal gun owner and had no criminal record.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey strongly criticized the actions of federal authorities and called for an immediate halt to the Trump administration’s operations in the city.
“How many more residents, how many more Americans must die or be seriously injured for this operation to be stopped?” Frey said at the press conference.
