Earlier, the media reported that Trump was considering making significant changes in the US participation policy in NATO.
According to officials, as part of a potential change in US policy, they may not defend the NATO member who has been attacked if this country has not reached a threshold level of defense costs.
Trump recently stated that NATO members should spend 5% of its GDP on defense, although the United States is not at this time.
