“I hope that Ukraine will act quickly because Russia is there,” the US president added, presumably referring to Russia’s successes on the battlefield.
It was reported that the representative of the head of the Kremlin, Dmitriev, will visit Miami on December 20-21 to hold talks with the representative of the American president, Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, regarding the US “peace plan”.
On December 14 and 15, Witkoff and Kushner held hours-long talks in Berlin with Ukrainian and European officials to agree on US security guarantees for Kyiv, territorial concessions and other issues.
According to the media, during the negotiations in Berlin, American negotiators pressured the Ukrainian side with the demand to give up the part of Donbas under its control.
