“Russia and Ukraine will immediately begin negotiations on ceasefire and, more importantly, the end of the war. The conditions will be discussed between the two parties, as it should be, since only they know the details of the negotiations that no one else can know about,” he announced.

The US president also pointed out that Russia wants to trade with the United States, “and I agree with it” because it “has an extraordinary opportunity to create a huge number of jobs and wealth” and “its potential is unlimited.”

Trump also reported that he had informed about the conversation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of the European Commission of Ursul von Der Lyen, President of France Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister of Italian George Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and President of Finland.

“Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately … The Vatican, represented by the Pope, stated that he would be very interested in negotiating. Let the process begin!” Trump summed up.

In his post, the US President did not mention the administration’s demand for the unconditional ceasefire, which Putin openly discarded, nor on potential sanction pressure in the case of Moscow to make concessions.
