Details: Trump devoted a significant part of his speech to Ukraine, in which he, in particular, complained about Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

“The president of Ukraine is in our country. He’s making dirty little jabs at your beloved president, me,” Trump said, without clarifying what he meant.

He accused President Joe Biden and his opponent in the elections, Kamala Harris, of allocating billions of dollars to Zelensky, who “refuses” to make a “deal.”

“And we continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refuses to make a deal – Zelensky,” Trump said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy planned to present his “victory plan” to Trump during his visit to the United States. However, according to the media, no meeting is scheduled with Trump.

Trump said on Monday that Zelensky wants the Democrats to win the 2024 US election.

Over the weekend, Zelenskyi visited a weapons factory in Pennsylvania with the state’s governor, Josh Shapiro, a Harris ally, which angered some Trump allies, given that the visit took place in the middle of the election campaign.

Americans of Eastern European descent – including Americans of Ukrainian and Polish descent – became a sought-after voting block for both campaigns, especially in Pennsylvania, which has a significant Polish and Ukrainian population.

Zelensky still plans to meet with current US President Joe Biden and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in Washington.
