It was reported that three persons were suspected of fraud and legalization of criminally obtained income – they appropriated “donations” worth 2.5 million hryvnias.

Details: The suspects created dozens of fake accounts on popular social networks. Using photos of the documents of active Ukrainian military personnel, they published announcements about collecting funds allegedly for the needs of the Armed Forces. Instead, the men used the funds received for their own needs.
At this time, it was established that the suspects embezzled donations worth more than UAH 2.5 million.
Mobile phones, bank cards, computer equipment and other material evidence were seized during searches of their places of residence and registration in Cherkasy and Kyiv regions.
