“
The first is a loud, naughty, permanent buzzing of Russian drones. The second is a sharp “tra-ta-t-ta-ta” of machine guns and anti-aircraft installations that breaks out.
So almost every night it sounds Zaporozhye, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, sums and more. They were a little more than other Ukrainian cities were not lucky enough to be located so close to the border with Russia. And they are a little greater than everyone’s responsibility to not miss these drones into the country.

Few people know, but in fact, there is another, third between the two sounds of the front -line cities. And it sounds like this: “Take a pointer, light up, bol*, well, I don’t see, bl*t!”. Or yes: “I am not gripped by the machine gun, not gripped!” And then, perhaps, yes: “Azimut Nol, course 180, used a hundred ammunition, the goal is not destroyed.”
These replicas belong to the commander of the platoon of the mobile group (MVG) of the 8th Sumy DFTG “Lesovik” named Vladimir. After he heard the drone approaching his ear, he jumped into the body of a white pickup of Mitsubishi L-200, on which the Turkish machine gun Canik M-2 was standing, he aimed and tried to open fire on the target that flew over his head. But he could not – the machine gun did not turn out to ninety degrees.
In a few seconds, Vladimir opened fire, but he could not reach the flying drone – he went too high. In one of the neighboring fields, he was already waiting for the traceful balls of the next crew.
This is one of the most common problems in the work of mobile fire groups: their machine guns get a target at an altitude of 500-1500 meters, while Russian UAVs, including “Shahda”, are on average at an altitude of 1500-4000 meters.
On the other hand, Russian drone cannot be allowed to fall very low, because, as the UPs explain UAV, they will be more difficult to detect and give a clear target for their movement to open fire.
– They know that we are standing here, so they gain height. If we take away, they will fly at all above the ground, – The role of MVG is explained by the commander of the 8th Sumy DFTG “Lesovik” Vladimir Saiko. For more than two years of work for air purposes, his boys have knocked down about 60 Russian drones.
How many hours it is necessary to spend on a machine gun-simulator to go for combat duty and knock down drones, which depends on the likelihood of a hit and how in real life the “Shakhda”, “Geranium”, “Gerbers” look like-see in the new report of “Ukrainian Truth” from Sumy region.
