The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained three henchmen of the Russian Federation in Chernivtsi, who were preparing a series of arsons at Ukrzaliznytsia facilities on the order of Russian special services.

Literally NPU: “Molodyki took advantage of the aggressor’s “easy” earnings and set fire to two relay cabinets on the railway in Chernivtsi. They received instructions from the enemy through social networks. For what they committed, the perpetrators face life imprisonment (the sanction of the article is from 15 years to life with confiscation of property – ed. .)”.
Details: Reports of damage to relay cabinets on the territory of the regional center were received by the police on September 8 and 11. In order to identify persons involved in sabotage activities, the law enforcement officers conducted a complex of operative and investigative measures.
As a result of painstaking work, the employees of the Department of Criminal Investigation of the National Security Service of Chernivtsi Region, together with colleagues from the Criminal Investigation Department and operatives of the SBU, identified the persons involved in setting fire to the relay cabinets and detained them.
They turned out to be two brothers aged 21 and 20 and their 18-year-old neighbor. All of them are residents of Chernivtsi. The oldest of the accomplices bought gasoline at the gas station and set the mines on fire, the others watched so that there were no eyewitnesses and witnesses to the event.
During the procedural actions, the police officers discovered correspondence in the Telegram channel in the mobile phones of the accused. According to the correspondence with the recruiters, the residents of Chernivtsi acted according to their instructions. In the messages, the “customer” sent young people tasks, and after their completion and a photo report, transferred money to bank accounts. The law enforcement officers seized physical evidence.
At the request of the law enforcement officers, the court chose preventive measures for the defendants – detention.
